Actis Technologies announced its ex- pansion plans to grow in western India.
As a part of this initiative, the company announced its plans to strengthen its
presence in Nashik. It plans to appoint approximately 20 dealers in the western
region.
Actis' business expansion plan in Maharashtra is the resultant of a good
year in business. The company currently has 500 partners across India, which
includes systems integrators (SIs), resellers and regional distributors (RDs),
and partners from the IT community, office automation and AV community.

Viraj Talmaki, Zonal Manager-Channel Sales, Actis Technologies, commenting
on the expansion plan said, “We would be providing our tier-1 products,
including projectors, video conferencing, optical front projection screens, flat
panel displays, interactive whiteboards etc to our dealers and will concentrate
on higher revenue options for our channel partners. We will support the channel
partner in joint marketing, generating leads and closing accounts, high-end live
product demos and hold technical discussions for them.”
In addition, he said, “Nashik is fast developing as one of the industrial
centers of India. It will eventually become a hub in this region for information
Technology, wineries, government establishments and education. In addition, with
the entry of leading enterprises and government set-ups in Nashik, the scope for
business has increased manifold.”
