ACT Trichy vows to safeguard interest of the channel community

The new leadership of the Association of Computer Traders, Trichy (ACTT) has vowed to raise concerns of the channel partners and work towards nourishment of the channel ecosystem. The association recently held presidential elections and elected new office bearers for the period of 2015-16.

Shanmuga Sundaram, newly elected president of ACTT said that the OLS issue had severely impacted the business of computer traders in Trichy. He said that apart from OLS, warranty and service issues with vendors and disparities in taxation are other major concerns in the region.

Sundaram said that the association was instrumental in solving partners’ issues with vendors and it would take all necessary steps to safeguard the interests of end-users as well as its members.

Other office bearers of  ACTT include: AB.Manivel, (Vice President),  P.Padmanabhan (Secretary), S.Sudhakar, (Treasurer),  J.Rajesh ( Joint Secretary) and Sivaraman.S ( Joint Secretary).

Started in the year 2002, ACT, Trichy is one of the prominent IT Associations in the state of Tamil Nadu. ACTT members include Computer Resellers, UPS manufacturers and resellers. Around 100 active members take care of supply of IT hardware and provide service for IT Products for Trichy District.

ACTT organise Computer Carnival, a computer and IT products exhibition every year in the month of December. ACCT is also involved in various CSR activities. It is also Confed-ITA, which includes more than 20 associations over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
