ACPL holds seminar on data leak prevention

New Delhi-based ACPL Systems recently held a seminar in the city in
association with Trend Micro. The seminar highlighted the various security
aspects and the problems data loss can lead to and how the same can be countered
by applying the data loss protection software.

Trend Micro has appointed ACPL Systems, their premium partner to distribute a
newly launched Trend Micro DLP-Leak proof solution in the region. Talking about
the seminar, Vishal Bindra, CEO, ACPL Systems stated, “We wanted to create an
awareness regarding the upcoming technology and after the seminar we will give
them demonstrations at their workplace to further boost their confidence.”

Elaborating on their expansion plans and strategy, Bindra reiterated that the
company will first focus on the existing set of customers to sell the solution
and then aim for newer set of customers. Besides, by the end of this year, the
company is planning to delve into another area pertaining to managed services.
ACPL is currently running pilot projects for the same through their newly
acquired office in Gurgaon but will offer managed service only later this year.
In addition, the company is also looking at expanding its presence in the North
region and will be opening offices in Chandigarh, Jaipur and Ludhiana.

“We already have three offices in Gurgaon, Mumbai and Delhi and are looking
to set-up offices in the North region mainly because the industry growth rate is
high in these regions,” added Bindra.

The company has recently forayed into information security domain as well and
tied up with a US based company, Certified Security in their bid to offer
comprehensive solutions for managing and protecting information. The company is
aiming to clock a turnover of Rs 17-18 crore by the next financial year.
