Acer has rolled out a new brand identity makeover, for itself, coinciding with the 25th year of Acer's operations globally. The new logo is spelt out in a bright green color depicting a warmer and friendlier image. The 'e', within the Logo, has been designed to reflect company's intention to develop and supply e-life solutions for e-Commerce, entertainment and education.
The new look lies the values company sums up as--innovation, caring, good value, reliable, easy-to-use and the belief that consumers do not just choose products, they choose values.
Acer's byline 'we hear you' supports the consumer centric approach of the company.
"We are looking beyond the PC to when information appliances are no longer thought of as computers, but as simple-to-use, useful tools that have become an integral part of many aspects of our lives," said Arun Sinha, MD, Acer India.
"We are conscious that with our new identity, our brand promise has been further strengthened. This means applying technology, as a direct response to specific customer needs. We are looking to reach out to our customers like never before, intuitively and aggressively," said W S Mukund, VP, Acer India.
