Acer has announced the launch of another exe-lusive retail promotional scheme
'Last Man Standing,' which is inspired by the sport of Hepta-thlon. There
are seven different awards and the con-centration is on five categories of Acer
products. The contest, valid from October 15, 2004 till December 31, 2004,
intends to reward the best and most con-sistent performing retail part-ner of
Acer India in the country.
The products that qualify for the scheme are Acer's Aspire range of Home
PCs and Travel-Mate notebooks, Acer Ferrari notebook, Tablet PC, Ultra portable
notebooks, Acer's projectors and the entire range of Acer's TFT monitors.
The contest also includes products from the Volume Products Div-ision; the AMD
black desktop, Intel's range of desktops and for the first time, the Altos
G310 is eligible for this promotion.
Acer's retail partners need to qualify in all seven categories including
the 'Gentleman's Club' to be eligible for the title of 'Last Man
Standing.' The top performer from the Gentle-man's Club will be crowned the
'Last Man Standing,' and is rewarded with a package tour for a couple to
Australia.
Retailers are required to qua-lify in each of the seven award categories, by
reaching a pre-set qualification mark. Each retailer requires 1000 poi-nts to
qualify for the 'Gentle-man's Club' and is mandatory that at least 100
points in three out of the six categories is scored, showcasing the all round
sell-ing ability and focus on Acer products. Every partner who scores 1000
points overall qua-lifies into the elite club and is awarded a tour for a couple
to the islands of Maldives.
