Acer has announced the incorporation of the Intel Pentium 4 - 2 GHz processor in its Veriton range, in tandem with the launch of the processor in India by Intel. This addition gives Acer customers access to the fastest processor from Intel in the P4 space. The P4 2GHz CPU is specifically designed for the latest Internet technology. The Veriton 9100 is a commercial PC especially suited to high-end professional usage in today's Internet connected office environments.

The Veriton 9100 utilizes the Intel(r) Pentium 4 processor and Intel(r) 850 chipset to maximize performance during multi-tasking operations, and lighten the system workload during heavy use of communications and customer service applications. With processor speeds up to 2 GHz, RDRAM expandable up to 1024 MB, support for 4X AGP graphic cards, and space for up to seven devices.
The Veriton 9100 comes in two configurations - it is powered with Pentium 4, 2 GHz, 256 MB RD RAM, 30 GB, 32 MB AGP, Win Me, 52X CD, 17 inch colour monitor at Rs 99,499 and with Pentium 4, 2 GHz, 128 MB RD RAM, 20 GB, 32 MB AGP, Win Me, 52X CD, 15 inch colour monitor at Rs 92,499.
The Veriton 9100 has an on-board Ethernet solution for office networking. Frontal ports allow easy plug-in play peripherals and audio devices for user convenience; solid colors and subtle styling defines the Veriton 9100 and its office centric design packs a punch to this desktop.
