Acer opens branch office in Chandigarh

Acer India has recently opened its new branch office in
Chandigarh with an aim of expanding and solidifying its presence in the northern
market. The Chandigarh office will address the rapidly expanding markets of
Punjab, Haryana, Chan­di­garh UT, Himachal, Uttaranchal, Jammu & Kashmir.

Speaking on the occasion, Harish Kohli, GM, Sales &
Marketing, Networking PC Client Group, Acer India, Acer India said, “This is
part of Acer's expansion plan aimed at furthering our presence in tier two
cities across. We believe that India's economic growth is rapidly emer­ging
from these loca­tions and it is imperative we are well positioned to further
this growth and develop a market for Acer's existing and future products
across the region. The new office will also be a valuable source of support for
our channel partners in the North.
