Acer intros new Aspire home PC

Acer announced the launch of its Aspire SA 80 series desktop based on Intel's latest Pentium 4 Processor with 64-bit technology. 

This is the latest introduction to Acer's range of home PCs, with the Pentium 4 Processor 519 (3.06Hz, 533 MHZ FSB), for increased power and excellent performance.

With system memory of 256 MB P3200 DDR 400 Mhz RAM, expandable up to 2GB and storage capacity of 80GB HDD, the Aspire SA 80 has a large capacity for storing personal documents, photographs, etc. It has an integrated 10/100 network integrated card (NIC), nine-in-one card reader, which can read all multimedia cards, giving the user flexibility and hassle free transfer of data.


The Aspire SA 80 comes with a 15" silver and black dual color TFT monitor with inbuilt speakers, making it an extremely attractive home computer. The combo

drive with CD writer and DVD ROM lets users enjoy all the multimedia features available on the PC, such as burning music and movie CDs. A free Acer Powertainment CD gift pack of 11 CDs worth Rs 3,000 has been bundled with Aspire SA 80.

Other features of the Aspire SA 80 include an Internet and MM ready USB keyboard, USB optical mouse, 56 Kbps data/fax/ internal modem and on board sound and graphics. Aspire
