Acer India has annou-nced the launch of the new Acer Ferrari 3400 notebook
based on AMD's 64 bit micro-processor technology. The notebook is backed by a
128 MB ATI Radeon 9700 graphics card and is targeted at CXOs and multimedia
enthusiasts.
The new notebook also offers wireless LAN for Wi-Fi connectivity and
integrated Blue-tooth. The Windows XP based Ferrari 3400 notebook 512 MB of
DDR333 memory up-gradeable to 2 GB using dual soDIMM modules, DVD writer and a
15-inch screen. It also provides RJ 47 Ethernet and 56Kbps ITU V.92 modem
fixed-line conn-ections. Additional feat-ures include a multi-format five-in-one
mem-ory card reader, 4 USB 2.0 ports, a Firewire (1394 IEEE) port and
S-video (TV-output) port. The notebook is priced at Rs 99, 999.
