Acer dreams big on services and government projects

Acer, in this year is very particular of bagging big projects in the government space and also the vendor is planning to enhance their service portfolios.

Speaking to ‘The DQ Week', Sudhir Goel, Chief Supply-chain officer, Acer India, said, "Last financial year, we met our numbers. Our key focus is always the government projects and we are expecting more state government-projects. Also, by having any government project in hand, we have to provide services even at panchayat level."

Speaking on the go-to-market strategy, Goel said, "In the first phase we are planning to have Acer branded retail showroom across the country and over a period of time we need to go closer to the customer even at district-levels with brand outlet." He also said that the company is more focused on giving the customers rich buying experience."

Goel also said that the vendor will increase 50 per cent, the number of service centers across the country. "That will definitely help our customers in the TAT. In all the cases we try to solve any warranty issues within 3 days", he concluded.
