Pune-based Accord Ventures Pvt Ltd has reinvented its digital marketing tool ‘ads4glo-be.net’ for the SME segment as the Accven Business Development solution. The company has appointed Newtech Engi-neering to distribute its product in
Pune.
Accord is in the process of selecting three channel partners in Mumbai. It has also chosen SKP Enterprises in South Maharashtra for distribution. The product will be available in 18 cities by the end of Nove-mber this year.
Accven, which has been touted as the Internet’s only business-focused search engine and virtual directory by the company, now ensures convergence between e-mail and cellular phones so that, manufacturers do not have spend exorbitant amounts on telephone calls from landlines to mobile phones. Whenever, the customer received a new mail on the mail server, he would be alerted by a beep on his cell phone.
“Although ads4globe.net was doing well, customers were demanding some more features such as product catalogue pages, an online enquiry generator, a mail server and an RFP and RFQ engine,” Subrata Sen, MD, Accord Ventures, explained.
Accven is a directory on the Internet of advertiser’s websites. The categorization of products and the customers will be done alphabetically. Sen said that the around 6,800 products have been listed on the site which have been classified into alphabetical order. “Although, we have restricted ourselves to the manufacturing sector, we hope to move onto the other sectors as well,” he said.
According to the company, an off-the-shelf package in an ASP format, Accven does not require any special programm-ing skills and a website can be built in minutes. According to Sen, the company has acquired 600 clients in Maharashtra so far.
