Accel Frontline, an IT services company, has signed a strategic
agreement with Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), to develop software-based
solutions and applications for JNU e-governance cell.
The e-governance cell of JNU would involve digitization of all
the processes and procedures related to administration and admission, Accel said
in a statement.
NR Panicker, Chairman and CEO, Accel Frontline said, "This
project would entail providing the overall e-governance focused solution to the
university and
would involve designing and implementing customer friendly applications that
will deliver desired efficiencies for the overall system."

The contract with Accel Frontline also includes a two-year
maintenance warranty and then a three-year maintenance contract. As part of this
project, the
company would also train JNU officials to ensure optimum usage of the technology
on a long-term basis.
