The recently formed association called ABITA (Ankleshwar Bharuch IT Association) has finalized on their board of members.
Resellers of Ankleshwar and Bharuch have formed ABITA effective from May to establish a common platform for both the industrial districts.
The new board of members include, Manish Shah (President), Mayank Mehta (VP), Talkin Zamindar (VP), Kalpesh Dalwadi (Secretary), Paras Patel (Secretary), Naeem Surajwala (Joint Secretary), Irshad Gaud (Joint Secretary), Nilesh Shah (Treasurer) and Mahesh Sabalpara (Joint Treasurer).
This is the second attempt from the dealers to form an association. The earlier attempt failed because of lack of awareness on the benefits of having an association and also the number of IT vendors and dealer's presence was very few. The second round efforts started off in April by Manish Shah, Proprietor, Shroff IT Services and Paras Patel--both from Ankleshwar. The association was formed in May and the committee was to be announced in June.
Presently, the association has 75 registered members out of which 40 are from Bharuch and 35 from Ankleshwar. ABITA also has plans to associate with neighboring associations like with the Confederation of IT Association of Gujarat and thereby, associating with the rest of the associations of India.
Said Surajwala, “The next six months plan is to maximize the members, to organize seminars and exhibitions, to publish directory of ABITA, create a website of the association and organize fellowship programs for the members.”
