Aar-em unveils low-cost UPS

Aar-em Electronics has launched its latest range of Champion UPS-500CX targeting small offices and Internet users. The unique thing about this range is that it is priced lower than Rs 4,000 (for end-users). Aar-em will soon be expanding its presence in Tamil Nadu with B and C class cities as its focus.

Regarding the pricing of the latest range of Champion UPS, Ranjit Mohite, Director, Aar-em said, "We could bring down the price only because of the volume production. Beside, price is the only factor on which we can compete now." 

Aar-em has over 1,000 dealers countrywide. However, it has very little presence in the North and East, which Ranjit explain is "because of the high competition in the north and a very small market in the East."

He revealed that Aar-em will be soon expanding into Tamil Nadu with special focus on B and C class cities. "The metros have become saturated," said
Ranjit.
