90% voter turnout in Rajasthan IT association elections

Rajasthan association completed its two year term and as decided association conducts a fresh election after completion of the term. Rajasthan computers traders association recently conducted elections to select the new EC body representatives.

14 nominations were declared by election jury to be voted by the members for all nine positions. Polling held at Kanha hotel in Jaipur last week wherein 215 members out of 242 casted their votes mean 90% voters turned out. Election processed for total 7 hrs in which farewell was given to the old EC members and all the members thanked them for providing all support in gone two years.

As election is one of the toughest election fight but polling took place in very structured and disciplined way which made polling peaceful. Also, all the members polled with positive approach and ensured to maintain friendly atmosphere.

ML Bhandari, election officer said, “Rajasthan association has been always observing peaceful elections which shows the faith of partners in each other. Previous committee devoted its 100 percent and supported all the members in their tenure. It was tough competition but as of now new committee has been elected and they have planned for more active strategies elected and ensured to mtake IT channel of jaipur at higher levels.”

Sugreev Singh Ranawat of Rajshree Systems won again for the position of more than 100 votes (56/159).

The toughest fight was between Naveen Singhal of Sumanglam IT Solution and Tarun tank of Informatic Computer for the post of Vice president wherein Naveen Singhal won the seat by 2 votes (106/108).

Deewanshu Chhabra of Beyond 200 won and elected as Joint Secretary (180/132), Dayashankar Sharma of Divakar Computronix & Systems won for the post of PRO (136/76), Mohammed Farooq of Statr Tech Computers elected as Treasurer (116/98), Mihir Sharma of Shri Ram Mihir was unopposed and thus he was elected as Secretary without any polling.

Apart from these positions three contestants were nominated for the post of Executive Members out of which two members were supposed to be elected where Sameer goyal won got 150 Votes. But Amit and Kumud both got 112 votes each so tie-up between both was announced and both were chosen for the post of executive member including Sameer Goyal.

Sugreev Singh Ranawat, Mihir Sharma, Dayashankar Sharma, Deewanshu Chhabra, Mohammed Farooq and Kumud Jain all served association for last two years and this year also they got elected with good number of votes. Three members are newly elected.

After the declaration of winners by Jury welcome party was given to new EC body members in which new members shared their vision to work further in favor of all the partners.

“As EC body members has been elected and now association will soon be announcing EC body general meeting to plan agenda for next two years, “stated Dayashankar Sharma, PRO, RCTA.
