Unethical Online practices have created the environment of volatility in traditional IT market which is creating heavy business losses and also putting the future of offline market in trouble. All IT products and mobile dealers of the state supported and actively participated in the bandh by shutting off their shops for whole day.

More than 25,000 shops were shut off in support of IT bandh. Due to the same, business loss calculated for that particular day was Rs. 25 crore. Bandh kick started under the guidance of Rajasthan Computer Traders Association (RCTA) and Rajasthan Cellular Association (RCA). These associations had also planned to approach all other associations in Rajasthan to unite and move ahead to get a concrete solution against online.

Agenda of bandh included addressing issues like predatory pricing, unethical business practice, duplicity of products, probability of use of black money in online business, fraud faced by customers from online and monopoly of e-commerce. According to traders of Rajasthan due to online sales traders are facing heavy monthly losses of around Rs. 15 crores. At the same time even government is bearing heavy revenue loss.

As it was a state wide bandh hence dealers from Jaipur, Udaipur, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ganganagar, Alwar, Churu, Kota, Bharatpur, Sikar ,Hanumangarh, Byavr, all showed their exasperation against unjustified online practices by shutting off their business for a day together.
