There is a listed Internet company in Taiwan. 104 Corp, an
online human-resource service website got listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE)
and with that became the first Internet company on TSE. CK Yang, Chairman of the
company, indicated that he and his family would hold more than 50 percent of the
share of the company to keep his way to operate the company. In recent years,
the net incomes of 104 Corp has averaged at NT$ 10 per share while in 21005, the
after-tax earnings of the company reached NT$ 290 billion. The IPO price of the
company is NT$ 95 per share. Yang indicated that concerning the economic
environment, 104 Corp have extended its business to new field such as online
tutor search and temporary-workers search service. In this April, the company
will set up an office in Shanghai, mainland China through acquiring other online
human-resource company in Shanghai.
