To be held at India Habitat Centre, Delhi, the event will host various motivational speakers, from all walks of life. This forms an extension of the TEDx spirit, through exposure and involvement of future leaders, to the ideas worth dispersal in the learning ecosystem. TEDx holds great influence in the minds of today’s youth, with its inspirational talks, garnering a huge following amongst young, impressionable minds. V4I’s participation here will not only ensure a pan-India live streaming of the TEDx event amongst its partner colleges across India but also provide an exposure to the student volunteers on real-world experiences and learning from practical on-the-ground problems – that can enhance their employability, confidence, communication skills and overall perspective. More than 50 colleges, partnered with V4I, will be associated with the event.

Volunteers can take a pick amongst a plethora of assignments across logistics planning, venue booking & preparations, social media interaction, technology support at the main event, as well as event coordination & guest invite coordination at each partner college during the live streaming. These volunteers are expected to sign-up from colleges across India, as well as from Delhi NCR to support the build-up events and main event on 11th December.

Commenting on the association, Uttam Ghosh, Dy CHRO, Feedback Infra, Global Operations said, “Real-world experience is what HR teams at organisations seek in a candidate, beyond his/her educational qualification. We would welcome initiatives which can expose our target employees to real-world problems, industry insights, hands-on operational exposure as well as on-project mentorship, during their academic tenure. This will enable learners apply the knowledge in real project scenario enabling them to become strong future leaders.”

Ranjoy Dey, CEO, Volunteer4India commented, “We are excited to bring forward another prestigious volunteering opportunity for our pan-India participants. By enrolling for these openings, through our platform for the TEDxDelhi event, we are sure that our volunteers would gain tremendous experience and practical know-how. The challenging assignments involved in organizing a successful event, and getting exposed to the rich content, will inspire them to share their experience on Social Media.”

Volunteer4India aggregates causes from all walks of life, originating from corporate causes, NGOs as well as the Government. These provide an opportunity for youth to sign-up as volunteers for any cause opportunity that interests them, at a time and place of their choice.
