TransWorks, provider of outsourced customer support services from India, has announced its tie-up with the American Accent Training institute (AAT), headquartered in Valencia-CA, for providing American accent training.

Ann Cook, founder and head of the AAT, is regarded as an expert in American accent training. Cook is the author of the book American Accent Training, widely regarded as the authoritative guide for non-American people working, travelling or studying in the US and Canada.

Based on this tie-up, TransWorks trainers have gone through an intensive multimedia-based training program conducted by Ann Cook. TransWorks trainers in turn train the associates to effectively communicate with American customers. The subsequent accent training conducted at TransWorks training facilities in Mumbai is part of the comprehensive induction program that all associates go through.

"It has been a pleasure working with the TransWorks team and after the training, I believe that the associates at TransWorks are very well geared to provide high quality customer support," said Ann Cook, on the recent training program conducted.

Baljit Ahluwalia, VP (Training), TransWorks, commented, "The AAT equips our associates with the necessary skills to effectively communicate with American customers. We look forward to building our partnership with the American Accent Training institute."
