Trade2Gain and Ariba unite for ASP market

Trade2Gain Web Services Ltd, a B2B service provider and Ariba Inc, a B2B eCommerce solutions provider, have announced that they have teamed to offer scalable e-commerce applications, in a secure hosted environment, targeted to the specific business needs of India and South East Asian companies. 

Through its innovative solutions, Trade 2Gain will customize, host, implement, manage and support the Ariba Buyer application. As part of the agreement, it will also resell the Ariba Buyer solution. Both the companies will work closely to build vertical industry templates integrating Ariba Buyer with leading enterprise applications. 

Ariba Buyer enables companies to electronically aggregate enterprise-wide spending from user desktops and direct spending to preferred suppliers, B2B marketplaces and exchanges, resulting in streamlined processes, economies of scale pricing and improved trading partner relationships.

As said by, with this customers would realize a significant cost savings by consolidating procurement and directing company-wide purchasing to preferred suppliers. This will further minimize the overall cost of acquiring the products and services that are essential to their business.
