He will also speak at the NASSCOM's Industry Leadership Summit on networking directions in the Next Generation. Commenting on his India visit, Manoj Chugh, President, India and SAARC region, Cisco Systems, said, "The industrial revolution of 200 years ago divided society by creating a gap between the 'haves' and 'have-nots.' Today's Internet revolution has the potential to unite everyone by combining the strength of the Internet and education, the two great equalizers in life. On his India trip, John will highlight how we can apply what we've learnt in business to all aspects of society through the Internet, to positively change people's lives."

John Chambers has led Cisco Systems from $ 1.2 billion in annual revenues in 1995 to its current run-rate of $ 26.1 billion for the financial year 2001. In India and the Asia Pacific region, Cisco Systems has been growing at an incredible pace together with the growth of the Internet in the region.
