Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global software solutions and consulting services enterprise, has established its regional headquarters in Singapore. TCS also appointed Girija Pande as Regional Director of Tata Consultancy Services Asia-Pacific (AP) based in Singapore.

Pande will be responsible for spearheading TCS activities in the region, which includes Australia and New Zealand.

TCS currently has eight offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Taipei (Taiwan), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Melbourne and Sydney (Australia) and Wellington (New Zealand). Currently, the AP region accounts for nine percent of export revenues with several key client relationships.

S Ramadorai, CEO, Tata Consultancy Services, said, "This is another strategic step to restructure TCS on the basis of service and industry practices and geographic regions and to become more client-centric."
