Renovision appointed distributor of TVSE consumables

Renovision Comnet Pvt Ltd, the Delhi based distribution major of consumables, has been appointed the distributor of TVSE consumables for the entire Delhi region. The official announcement, which came last week, has appointed Renovision as the distributor for its entire range of consumables, which include Lexmark cartridges, DMP heads, ribbons etc.

"This is a great breakthrough as far as Renovision is concerned, in its path towards becoming a pure consumable distribution company," said VK Trivedi, CEO, Renovision. Earlier, the company was appointed the distributor of Epson consumables in August. It has been the distributor of HP and Wipro consumables for the last few years.

Renovision--the consumable arm of the OA Compserve Group--plans to focus more on the upcountry market, where they had recognized a `huge gap between the demand and supply for the consumables.' It has already covered the states of UP and Rajasthan with its offices having started functioning in Kanpur and Jaipur respectively from November. Trivedi is of the opinion that the upcountry market holds huge potential as far as the consumables are concerned as the whole of the buying from these markets were done from Delhi till now. Renovision will open its Chandigarh office by the end of December. With this, the company is aiming to cover the entire northern region of the country.

"With the realization of our strength as a consumable distributor and by working out the required logistics, we plan to change almost 60 percent of our focus to the upcountry market, while the remaining will be focused in Delhi. The recognition from TVSE goes a long way towards achieving the set target," added Trivedi.

"We have appointed Renovision as our distributor in the northern region, because we felt that it is strong in distribution and has a good reach. It will indeed be beneficial to us if the company is expanding into the up country market and thus increasing its reach," said P Satyanarayana, Branch Manager, TVSE. He added that TVSE has been satisfied with the marketing strategy of Renovision and the way in which it treats its principals and dealers.

Renovision had ventured into hardware some time ago by selling Lanbit modems, but had refocused itself as the consumable distributor and is now looking at being the first tier distributor of all the consumables, added
