Radiant opens center in Colombo

Radiant Software Limited announced the opening of its first overseas center in Colombo, in association with Master Minds Pvt Ltd, Sri Lanka. The objective is to spread Radiant technology training in Sri Lanka and other parts of South Asia with Colombo as the base.

Plans of taking Radiant technology across South Asia/Asia Pacific include opening up a center in Malaysia through a JV arrangement. The Malaysian center is slated to be operational in December.

"Our strategy is to expand our training activity rapidly in South Asia/ Asia Pacific regions because of the huge demand for high-end cutting-edge technology training there. e-commerce, XML, and other internet application server based technology are so demanding and our internet training expertise in these area should work very well for us," remarked S Giridharan, CMD,

Radiant has posted an impressive growth of over 3.5 times in performance with the revenue for FHY 2001 ending 30 September 2000 Rs 1180 lakh and a PAT of Rs 221 lakh as against the revenue of Rs 200 lakh and PAT of Rs 60 lakh for the corresponding period last year. Radiant targets aims at Rs 30 crore revenue for the quarter ending 30 March 2001.

Radiant has also signed the Component Enterprise Agreement (CEA) with Microsoft Corporation. Under this agreement, Radiant shall provide solutions in e-commerce and NET strategies of Microsoft around the world and shall access Microsoft's latest technology then and there. Radiant shall providing training solutions in e-com framework called 'BizTalk' and Site Server Commerce Server along with Digital Dashboard concept.
