Punjab and Chandigarh IT association will represent their activeness in FAIITA

The Federation of All India IT Associations (FAIITA) will host its 1st meeting after formation of FAIITA in Mumbai on 27 and 28 June, 2015. The online challenge, vendor relations and recent hike in taxes are some of the key topics on the agenda of the meeting. The federation contemplating to invite IT vendors, representatives of local administration and BJP’s National Co-Convener of IT cell Vinit Goenka.

“We will represent our Punjab Association of Computer Traders (PACT) and Chandigarh Computer Association (CCA) as active members of FAITTA and will share and contribute our ideas and thoughts on the topics that would rise in meeting. FAIITA is a platform for all IT Association in India where we can come forward and raise and our voice against different problems in IT market like online challenges and hike in taxes”, said Satpal Singh, general secretary, ACE ludhiana.

Sanjeev Walia, president Chandigarh Computer Association (CCA) said “We are initiating the vision of ‘Make in India’ to the next level where we will discuss on online challenges and through this initiative FAIITA would take a lead to promote local manufacturing and appeal all the parent associations to encourage domestic manufacturing in their respective regions”.

The two day meeting has been hosted by FITAM and it is expected to be attended by around 70-100 members.
