Vikram Dhawan, Director, NextLinx India Pvt Ltd, said, "The over $ 2 million investment has primarily gone into infrastructure, technology and human resources and I see that increasing exponentially with the increasing responsibility and delivery responsibilities of the Indian center."

Rajiv Uppal, Chairman and CEO, NextLinx Corp, said, "When we were looking at an option for locating our global support center, India scored with its quality manpower and attractive costs. And in the very short time the center has existed, it has done great work which only validates that choice."

Talking about the objectives set for the Indian operations, Uppal stated: "Creation of global content in the trading area is both challenging and critical and the Indian team is the best placed to undertake that task on an ongoing basis.

Considering the need to invest in technology and development, we would begin with some R&D initiative here which would only grow in importance in the coming years."
