Computex

2010, href="https://www.dqweek.com/jamnagar-dealers-face-issue-with-intel">Intel

announced to add Dual Core Intel href="https://www.dqweek.com/intel-expands-atom-processor-platform">Atom

processor

to its netbook platform on the first day of the Computex 2010. The

netbook with the Dual core processor is set to be launched within few

months in the global market.

It

was the 30th anniversary of Computex in Taipei, capital of Taiwan.

The computer show will be held till June 5 at the Taipei World Trade

Center and the Nangang Exhibition Hall, Zhongguancun.

During

the

opening keynote at Computex, David Permutter, Executive VP and color="#000000"> co-
GM,

Intel Architecture Group said, “Based on the 'Pine Trail' platform

and on the shelves, mobile Dual core Intel Atom processor will be

available before the end of year.”

Netbook

is

a strong business segment for Intel. More than 50mn Intel-based

netbooks sold in the past 2 years.

Intel,

on

the day, has also announced collaboration with ASUS to bring the

first netbook with Intel AppUP Center. ASUS is launching the 'ASUS

App Store' and will be the first manufacturer to ship netbooks

pre-installed with a client based on the Intel AppUp Center. These

netbooks are scheduled to to be in market by the end of current year.
