MphasiS launches sambaonline.com

MphasiS, a system integration technology and IT enabled services provider, has announced the implementation of sambaonline.com, the integrated banking offering of Saudi American Bank ((SAMBA). MphasiS' 30 person onsite and offshore team worked in close co-operation with the SAMBA technical team to ensure a robust technical architecture and implementation.

Sambaonline.com has already attracted around 7000 registered users. The site supports 47 services across six products including personal accounts, time deposits, credit cards, personal finance, mutual funds and financial planning services. Sambaonline.com is available in both Arabic as well as English.

The unique features of sambaonline.com include a transactional capability as a step towards building a rich customer portal, relationship summary, personalization of customer menu and a message center facility for a two-way communication with customers.

With 24x7 availability with Straight Through Processing, sambaonline also offers online self-registration, branch registration and back office help desk facility. Samba online is built using WLE-JET/ Tuxedo (WebLogic Enterprise) - Interfaces to back end and LDAP (Directory Service) - Repository of Internet user details. The project was achieved in a total frame of nine calendar months including two calendar months of beta testing.
