Most students contacted seemed to be not interested in getting admissions in IT courses, as they thought there was now little scope in this sector. Ajay Sharma of Bhopal, who attended the second phase of counseling said that he wants admission in the Electronics branch, and if he did not get chance this time, he would try next year again. But he would not take admission in IT. Similarly, Suresh Saxena, who wants to take admission in Electronics, said that the craze for IT has ended now. Even after completing studies, chances of employment were very slim, he said.
