Continuing publicity campaign for its product, Microsoft educated IT partners on Office 365 during The DQ Week Tech caravan event in the City of Palaces—Mysore.

The Tech Caravan event was organized in association with Microsoft in hotel Sandesh-The prince on 22nd August which received a good response from Mysore IT partners.

The event kick started with presentation of Prabodh Kumar Pal, regional PS Lead-South SMB. In his detailed presentation, Prabodh elaborated Market trends, Microsoft’s offerings to the partners, PS Initiatives, cloud offerings and programs and promos.

He gave information about Microsoft’s Campus and School Agreement (CASA) and Student Certification program. Microsoft Campus Agreement is a subscription licensing program for higher educational institutions. He also asked partners to explore opportunities in Microsoft’s new offerings.

After the presentation of Prabodh, Mohammad Kashif, South head of Office 365 gave presentation on Microsoft Office 365. He talked about utilities of Office 365 and Microsoft’s cloud service offerings to the partners.

MS Office 365 is a Cloud based productivity solution that has essentially four components under it and they are MS Exchange, Office, Lync Online and SharePoint.

There were few queries regarding Microsoft’s CC++ program which promptly addressed by Microsoft’s representatives.

Lastly, Ritesh Khedia, regional PAM Lead-South gave presentation on Nokia Lumia mobility. He insisted Mangalore IT partners to pitch Nokia products. There were quite a few queries raised by the partners which were aptly addressed by Prabodh during networking over dinner.
