JP Systems gets direct-to-store project

JP Systems, a Hyderabad based subsidiary of JP systems, Inc a US based company working in the area of wireless enabling technology and has got a project from Woolworths Ltd, a New Zealand based wholly owned subsidiary of Dairy farm International. The project entails developing supply chain delivery process automation and directs to store delivery system for Woolworths stores across New Zealand.

Raghu Kumar, CEO, JP Systems said, "JP Systems has been in the forefront of developing wireless solutions for diverse industries. The introduction of this project and its associated technology is critical for increased efficiency in a low margin industry as well as improved supply chain management for better customer services and productivity, a factor critical for today's business."

The project involves a study of Woolworths current systems and requirements, conceptualization of appropriate solutions, development of solution, rollout and training of appropriate parties. The DSD (Direct to Store delivery) palm application allows the user to view the initial delivery note, final delivery note and initiate the Hot sync Process (transferring data between PC and palm devices). This technology helps in increasing the efficiency of supply chain management and reduces the turn around time for delivery.
