JK forays into IT education

JK Technosoft has launched its information technology education wing called Internet Learning and Innovation center (ILINK). The center has been set up with the objective of providing quality-training solutions on latest technology platforms for software professionals and corporate houses.

Speaking about the reason of JK's foray into IT education, Vikas Narula, Center Manager, ILINK said that J K Technosoft has been in the IT sector for the last 10-20 years in the field of development. With the growth in IT industry apparent today, they want to take this opportunity and provide high-end training in e-commerce, etc.

The institute is providing three courses for the graduates, housewives and software developers with the main course being the one for graduates in any stream. It is a four-month course with a fee of Rs 50,000. After completion of the course, students can be placed in JK Technosoft itself after taking some tests. The institute is also in the process of tying up with other companies for placement. 

Delhi center of ILINK has been set up with a total investment of Rs 1 crore. At first, ILINK will concentrate on Delhi and expand through its franchisee setup. The next six months would hold the setting up five to six more centers in Delhi. After that the expansion plans go far to other cities like Chandigarh and

Lucknow.
