ISODA elects new Executive Body

The Infotech Software Dealers Association (ISODA) has recently concluded its Annual General Meeting on the 5th August 2016. The members present voted for besides electing the new Management Committee. This was formally announced to all members present at the gathering by the Returning Officer, Prashant Jain of JNR Management Resources Private Limited who presided over the session.

Vice Chairperson of the last term, Vipul Datta, CEO Futuresoft became the chairperson this year. The achievements of the last year under the ably shouldered leadership of the old Management Committee were presented.

Some of the key achievements included Tech Summit 6 in Lankavi, media presence and bringing out an exclusive newsletter by and for ISODA members in the name of “ISODA Interconnect”. The two day event started with elections and swearing in of the new MC on the first day followed by some very interesting and informative lectures and presentations on the second day by ISODA members and guest speakers on important topics that kept the audience in rapt attention such as taxation, Getting Things Done, Leadership and Conflict Management.

Based on the elections the new managing committee comprise of 10 persons. Vipul Datta, CEO, Future Soft Pvt Ltd, has been elected as Chair Person. Nilesh Kuvadia, MD, while ITCG Solutions is elected as the President. Vice Chairperson Tushar Parekh, Managing Director, Silicon Netsecure; Rajeev Mammidanna has been elected as the Vice President, Dnyanesh Kulkarni will be Secretary, On Treasurer position Pankaj Goenka, Vimesh Avlani,  N.K.Mehta, Kamal Gulati and Manasi Saha  will act as Representatives of the West, South, North and East regions respectively.

When quizzed, newly elected Chairperson, Vipul Datta told The DQ Week exclusively about the 5 key areas on which the newly formed committee would be focusing upon, “there are 5 areas which we will work on firstly, Adopt and use more technology to bring partners together, launch of mobile business aggregation app for realtime commercial collaboration among partner, secondly, Liaison with international trade association to help members setup their business in India. Thirdly, Build local chapters in the 4-5 potential cities identified by the MC, Fourthly, Establish strategic alliance with other existing trade associations so as to collaborate and achieve more focus and commitment from the government in order to ensure larger participation of the SMSE Organization in key Govt initiatives. Fifthly, Provide members with the following direct benefits focused to maximize the business potential - Media presence, Isoda regional event, continued connectivity through Isoda news letter –interconnect, Isoda portal, mobile app (under development) delineated Datta.
