"In the information age, technologies and markets are global. The Indian Pavilion is a showcase of Messe Frankfurt's determination to highlight emerging business paradigms. The positioning of the fair will provide a first mover advantage to companies to bag international orders and showcase their inherited strength", commented Thomas Scheutz, MD, Messe Frankfurt Ausstellungen GmbH.

"With the recent IT slowdown in the US, all eyes are focussed towards Europe. And with the explosion of online banking coupled with the shortfall of skilled IT workers in the region, Germany is welcoming Indian software solutions in a bigger way. EBTF will provide a specialized and comprehensive platform for decision makers from the Bankin and the Financial Sectors", said Shammi Nagpal, MD, Messe Frankfurt India.

In its endeavor to compete with the US, Germany as an international financial center needs this fair to take advantage of the time factor.

Keeping in line with India's target of notching up $ 50 billion software exports by 2008 and generating employment of 2.2m in the software sector, it is necessary to tap new emerging markets in Europe. EBTF will offer the right solutions for Indian Companies wanting to expand their presence in India.
