The game is as Liberation war that took place in 971 where Pakistanis killed two to three million people. The game's object is simple: The more enemies you kill – obviously the more “Pakistanis” you kill- the higher your score soars. As you're playing, a counter keeps track on the top centre of the screen.

The government funded  ‘Heroes of 71’ attempts to evoke memories of the Pakistan army’s excesses that gave birth to an uprising of the Bengali-speaking population of the nation. As history books would tell us, this mass uprising – later aided by Indira Gandhi’s tanks during the 1971 Indo-Pak war – had ultimately led to the creation of Bangladesh.
