A statement issued by the company states, that while Krishnamurthy will be transitioning out of his current operations role as country head of Kaseya India early this spring, he will continue to guide the company through active engagement in strategic leadership. Martin Ashby, executive VP, Asia-Pacific region for Kaseya, will be taking over the reins from him.

"I am grateful to the customers, partners and the entire Kaseya team for the support that has driven Kaseya India to such incredible heights. It has been a rewarding and enriching experience with Kaseya both professionally and personally. I take pride in the success of Kaseya India, and look forward to being part of exciting times ahead," said Krishnamurthy.

Krishnamurthy added, "Besides, I believe that now the company has established itself in the Indian market. It is the right time to move out of my operations' role and take up the advisory job. This means I will no longer be a part of day-to-day operations of the company in India. In fact, we have conveyed the message to all the partners and they have taken this message quite positively. Even my team is ready to take up the challenge without me. My commitment to Kaseya is very much on, as I will continue to support the management as well as partners."

The company's partners seems to be quite surprised with this sudden development. K V Jagannath, MD of Hyderabad based Choice Solutions and one of the leading partners of Kaseya in the country, asserted, "I am both shocked and happy with this news. The good part is that he will still be associated with the company but this transitioning should have been smooth rather than making sudden announcement. We have no clue how the new person replacing him would manage the business. It is definitely a matter of concern for us as a partner because we might get to see change in strategies and policies in the long run. We have to revisit our channel plans, as there is a big question mark for the future. Meanwhile, Krishnamurthy has been an excellent friend and guide who always helped my business grow."

R S Shanbhag, director, Bengaluru based Valuepoint Systems and one of the major partners of Kaseya, said, "Business always takes place between organizations and not based on individuals. Hence, this development will not have any negative impact on our relationship with Kaseya. Having said that, I must say that Krishnamurthy's leadership qualities have been exemplary. He has always been innovative, proactive, and thoughtful having a bigger vision for not only his organization but also for the channel partners. He had developed an efficient team under him. Even at the global level, he has played a very important role. I am very confident that there will be no hiccups post his moving out of the current role."

While addressing some of the partners' concerns, Krishnamurthy, said, "In India, we are selling only through channels and our business rules are already established here. And as a company, I do not foresee any change in the approach. Partners will get to see more and more business coming from Kaseya, as the model is already set."
