With the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council predicting a 10 percent growth in the jewellery exports in the coming years and the gems and jewellery exports accounting for 22 percent of India's total export earnings in the financial year 2001, the jewellery industry can be viewed as the most promising industry of today.

Commenting on the reasons for organizing the seminar, Anil Bakht, Chairman and MD, ESS said, "There is a huge untapped potential in both the exports and the retail market in the

The focus of the seminar was to highlight the benefits of adopting an ERP to increase business productivity and efficiency in both the exports and retails segment.
