On Friday the 13th (July), it was an evening that the partners will remember for a long long time. In a gala event at ITC Grand Maratha, Mumbai, The DQ Week hosted its 14th DQ Week Premier Partner League Awards 2012. This event was graced by more than 200 partner from across western region, while the Digisol, BPE, Uniline, Cyberoam NetGenie, Trend Micro and Rashi Peripherals were partners for the award function.
Every year, the DQ Week annual awards are decided by an independent jury which comprises eminent personalities in the IT industry, who are closely aligned with the channels. The awards are given after a long process of discussion and deliberation amongst the jury members with the panel shortlisting candidates based on certain parameters.
In the 14th DQ Week Awards, channel partners from 5 states including Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chattishgarh, Gujarat and Goa states were evaluated and awarded. The award categories comprised different categories ranging from the Best Channel Partner, Best System Integrator, Best Reseller, Best Sub-Distributor and many more.
The evening kicked off with the opening remarks of Rajneesh De, Editor of DQ Channels and The DQ Week. While welcoming the gathering, he also elaborated upon the change in the new branding of the awards and introduction of new categories in the awards. He also touched uponn the recent initiatives undertaken by The DQ Week.
This year we organized a Fire-Side chat and the topic of discussion was "Changing dynamics of the distribution industry". On the panel were Navinder Chauhan from Digisol, Navin Pansari from Rashi Peripherals and Chetan Shah from Xpress Computers and the discussion was moderated by Rajneesh De.
