Albion InfoTel unveils Albion Secure and Albion DataSafe

Global IT enterprise Albion InfoTel has added two more products in its kitty with the launch of Albion Secure and Albion DataSafe, an anti-virus and cloud based data recovery solution, respectively.

A lightning-fast application-level firewall, Albion Secure encompasses web filtering, unique heuristic analysis algorithms, instant understanding of current level of protection and built-in tools for contacting. It takes minimal system memory and processing usage. Rajesh Maji, VP, corporate affairs, Albion Infotel commented, "Albion Secure protects user's digital identity, defends digital content, and has a very simple and user-friendly interface. One need not be a geek to operate this firewall. It also gives the user an option of submitting a suspected malware file to our online anti-malware service for professional analysis."

The other product, Albion DataSafe, boasts of full incremental or differential backup option with full and selective restoration option (file extension, mailbox). Capable of supporting Exchange 2003, Exchange 2007, Exchange 2010 versions, it comes with a distinguished feature. Instead of sending backups to a tape drive or other media attached to the computer, it stores the backup offsite over the internet. "It supports both 32 and 64 bit operating system files and folders and runs in the background mode without effecting users' work," stated Zafar Saeed, VP, products, Albion Infotel. DataSafe compresses files before backup to save internet bandwidth and ensures absolute privacy by encrypting data using up to 4096-bit keys.

"Both our products sentinel for the toughest requirements for home and businesses. With protecting more than half a million systems worldwide, we are positive that these solutions will get affirmative response," said D Vasudevan, executive director, Albion.

Albion Secure comes with a competitive price tag of Rs 699 per single PC use and Rs 1,299 for three PC license. The consumer version of Albion Datasafe starts from Rs 99.99 per month for a 20 GB storage; the annual price being less than Rs 1,000. The enterprise version of Datasafe for 100 GB of storage space starts with Rs 469 per month, and the Disaster Recovery for enterprises comes at Rs 2,499 per month giving a storage space of 500 GB.
