Astric Computers initiates training programme for under-privileged

Targeting to uplift the under privileged mass thereby enhancing their chances of employability in the domain of IT, Astric Computers (I) Pvt. Ltd. (ACIPL) conducted a computer hardware and networking training programme recently.

Focussed over the skill development and enable the under privileged mass in joining the main stream, Bijendra Yadav, minister - energy, parliamentary affairs and excise, Bihar inaugurated this Skill Development Mission project, initiated by a related concern, Bihar's Centre of Excellence (CoE).

Lauding the programme and the vision of CoE, Yadav elaborated over the importance of computers in the daily life of a common man and reinstated the fact that computers have now become a necessity for all walks of life. Speaking on the occasion, he further told the youth that there has been a sea change in the Human Resource density post division with Jharkhand and "our state is left out with no option that skill development to cater to the increasing need of ICT the geographically".

Further, gracing the occasion of the launch of the training programme, Dhirendra Mohan Jha, IAS, Labour Commissioner cum Director Employment and Training - Labour Resources Department, Govt. of Bihar said, "Such training programmes will ensure ICT capacity building of BPL masses across Bihar and more such programmes are needed for other districts too".

Further, Deepak Kumar, local ward counsellor endorsed the socially relevant training done by the organization.

"Bihar has a huge pool of youth which can be converted into asset with such skill development. It's the need of the hour to tap talent pool from various parts of our state and bring them into the main stream for inclusive growth", Kumar said.
