Maxtor conducted a series of road shows targeted at end
users, system integrators, resellers and retailers this month, which was
concluded on March 30 at Chandigarh and Chennai.
The two-day-long road show was conducted in Indore,
Hyderabad and Jaipur on March 22 and 23. However, Chennai and Chandigarh was
covered on March 29 and 30
In Jaipur Ganpati Plaza and Jayanti market were chosen for
this show. However, in Indore show held at Palika Plaza and Appola Towers. In
Chandigarh the show was held at sector 20D and 35B.

During this product road show Maxtor showcased its
extensive range of hard disk drives and consumer storage products including the
Maxtor DiamondMaxÂ, MaXLineÂ, and Atlas hard drives. Fun-filled activities
such as games and puzzles with attractive prizes were also the part of road
show.
Informing more about this road show, Yogesh Kamath, Country
Manager, Indian subcontinent, Maxtor said, “India is an important market for
us. The consumers of today are becoming increasingly tech-savvy and are
creating more personalized digital content. With the boom in storage needs, the
demand for high-capacity storage devices is also rapidly increasing. Maxtor is
well positioned to cater to the growing demands of storage in India.”
Adding further about this show Kamath said that the show
got overwhelming response in all the cities. Answering the reason for
choosing these cities for Maxtor show, he replied, “The activity level is
increasing in B class cities and we have been getting very good response. So
these cities were choosen to encourage the resellers in B class cities.”
