D-Link's Jayesh Kotak joins Ashtech Infotech

In a surprising development of events, Jayesh Kotak, the former VP, product management, D-Link India, has joined Ashtech Infotech, a Mumbai based solution provider company. He has joined as the head of digital infrastructure business.

Confirming the senior executive level move, B Shankar, director, Ashtech Infotech said, "Kotak has joined the team 10 days ago. We have selected him because of his business efficiencies. He has been hired as a part of the senior management team and will be responsible to drive the infrastructure business of the organization."

Talking exclusively to The DQ Week, Kotak substantiated this news and said, "Yes, I have joined Ashtech as the president of digital infrastructure business."

Kotak's D-Link stint lasted for more than 5 years. Prior to D-Link, he was responsible for business development in the convergence products portfolio and was the senior business development manager at Avaya GlobalConnect, where he worked for more than 6 years. Apart from this, he had also worked at companies like Xircom, Microland, Datamatics, and IDM.
