D-Link introduces 3 new models of motherboards

Mumbai based networking company D-Link, has added three new models of motherboards in their range of product portfolio under the brand name of

'DigiLink'.

DigiLink's first model, DMB-815EM was introduced with Intel 815E chipset microATX board. Now, D-Link has further introduced a range of motherboards to suit various applications/users, which makes them perfect and offers great flexibility.

DigiLink's second model-DMB 810EB has Baby AT Board and third model-DMB 810 EM has Micro ATX Board. The motherboards have two-year warranty and are manufactured in the recently inaugurated plant at Goa, which boast of ISO 9002 and ISO 140001 certifications. Both these models, DMB-810EB and DMB-810EM are directed towards the economy market.

DMB 810EM and DMB 810EB have Intel 810E Chipset integrated High Performance and High Quality 2D and 3D Engines with direct AGP. They support up to two independent channels for four IDE devices and up to PIO mode 4 and ULTRA DMA 33/66 and have two PCI bus mastering ATA E-IDE ports.

DMB-810EM has 3-32 bit Bus Mastering PCI slots (v2.1 compliant) and DMB-810EB has 2-32-bit Bus Mastering PCI slots. The dimension of DMB-810EB is 220mn X 240 mm and the dimension of DMB 810 EM is 170 mm X 245 mm. DMB-810EM and DMB-810EB are priced at Rs 5,950.

Digilink's fourth model - DMB-845M has Intel 845 Chipset consisting of Intel 82845 Memory Controller Hub (MCH), Intel 82801 BA I/O Controller Hub (ICH2), Intel 82802Ab 4 Mbit Firmware Hub (FWH). Using socket 478 processor architecture capable of supporting Pentium 4, it has MicroATX board and speed up to 2 GHz, 2 DIMM sockets which support up to 24 MB SD RAM and supports 4 USB ports, two embedded and two optional with USB Module.

The other features in DMB-845M include two serial ports, 1 parallel port, and two IDE interfaces with UDMA 33, ATA-66/100 support, one diskette drive interface, and PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports. It has three PCI bus add-in card connectors. DMB-845M is aimed at the futuristic high-end market. The price for DMB-845M is yet to be decided.
