Cerebra launches a range of new products

Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd has launched surface mount technology division. The state-of-the-art unit would manufacture motherboards, graphic cards, memory modules, hubs & switches, monitors, CD-ROM drives and keyboards, all under the brand name KRANION. The unit houses a fully-automated, anti-static environment incorporating the latest technologies to produce world-class hardware products.

The new SMT division would manufacture 30,000 units per month. The company has invested Rs 5 crore in the venture with a projected turnover of over Rs 30 crore during this financial year and expected growth of 500 percent, translating to Rs 150 crore, during the next fiscal. The distribution of these new products would be handled by Aditya Infotech Ltd, Tech Pacific (India) Ltd and Advantage Computers (India) Ltd.

Said V Ranganathan, Chairman and MD, Cerebra, "The quality factor has always been accorded paramount importance, for which the company has been awarded the ISO 9002 certification for operations covering production, installation and servicing of computers, accessories and software."

Added S Nagaraj, Marketing Manager (SMT Division), Cerebra, "A strong after sales service and faster delivery schedules, happens to be the strength and is some of the pre-requisites of the new unit, which would cater to the domestic market."
