of

IT Dealers (AIT), Bengaluru is gearing up for its Annual General

Meet (AGM) on November 27, 2011 in Bengaluru, which will be attended

by around 150 members overall.

The

main

agenda of the AGM is to elect office bearers after a period of 2

years besides giving an open platform for further discussions on

certain issues. It will also review association's annual

performance and achievements based on the balance sheet.

Speaking

to

The DQ Week, R Sridhar, proprietor, Triangle Technologies

and president, AIT said, “This would be the 7th election and 14th

AGM. All office bearers and executive committee members will be

re-elected. The AGM is a forum where members ask the current

executive committee bearers about their queries. Usually we discuss

all sorts of related queries through Google groups but in AGM we

discuss in detail. We discuss the finances, functioning, and plans of

the association.”

Last

elections

were held 2 years before in 2009, where 5 new office

bearers were elected for the post of president, VP, secretary,

treasurer and joint secretary. Six other executive committee members

were elected for the period of 2 years. This year it seems to follow

the same pattern for the elections. The venue is yet to be finalized

and is currently in the discussion phase.
