The All India Society for Electronics and Computer
Technology (AISECT) has signed a MoU with the Institution of Electronics and
Telecom Engineers (IETE) for expansion of IT, training and population activities
in the country.
The MoU aims at organizing various activities for the
effective dissemination of IT for the general public in the state. Coaching for
engineering degree and diploma level programs in the area of electronics,
telecommunication and computers will also be conducted by AISECT all over the
country through its selected centers.
A separate group has been formed for the preparation of
content in regional languages, preparation of books and publications in various
languages. AISECT and IETE will also develop a disaster management van, which
will be helpful in providing a communication link with the rest of the country
during any natural disaster in the country.
The MoU has been signed between Major General Yashwant
Dewa, President, Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, and
Santosh Choube, GS, AISECT.
