place in Ooty last year in November. Samsung was the co-sponsor while K7

invitations to all vendors requesting for their support in the summit.
Prasad said that members have benefited by coming together and reviewing
their operations, focusing on profitability, cooperating among themselves to
avoid price cutting, working closely with vendors to resolve service and support
related issues.
"Confed-ITTA also organized GT2GT (Get Together to Grow Together) event in
Madurai inviting all vendors and discussed various problem areas and explored
possible solutions.
SUMMIT2008 will give an opportunity to members from various towns to meet in
a single place, network and exchange notes, talk to vendors directly, relax, and
acquire skills to improve profitability and stay competitive," he added.
S Karthikeyan, President, Confed-ITTA claimed that the basic aim of the
summits conducted by Confed is to unite the members and strengthen the
relationship between channel partners and vendors. "Through our every attempt,
we aim to strengthen the relationship between vendors and channels. Even this
year we aim to keep a step ahead in terms of strengthening the relationship. We
have learnt our lesson from the last year's summit. This time we look forward to
making the event even more successful" Karthikeyan said.
He also stressed on the need for every partner to attend this summit. "There
is a necessity for every partner to attend this summit, as everyone would get a
shoulder to share their burden and support each other," Karthikeyan averred.
S Prakash, Secretary, Confed-ITTA claimed that the summit will provide
opportunity for more resellers to be a part of Confed and pave the way for the
formation of more associations from B and C-class cities.
This event will also see the new team of Confed-ITTA taking charge under the
leadership of Prasad as President for 2009-10.
