Gajshield is looking forward to increase its presence in the channel space by
inducting more channel partners within its fold in the east. The company has
already appointed Avaya and Robotics Automation as its national and it's
regional distributor, respectively.
“Increasing our channel presence is primary concern for us for the time
being. We have a list of important clients all over the country, including ICICI
Bank, where TechFlow application has been installed to increase operational
efficiency. We also have educational institutions like NSHM within our fold
using VPN gateway security across 250 platforms,” informed Sanjay Sengupta,
Regional Manager-East, Gajshield.
Primarily targeting the BFSI and ITeS sectors for its products, the company
has recently increased its priorities for the educational and healthcare
sectors.
With an objective of capturing the Kolkata market in unified protection and
threat management (UTPM) applications, the company has its presence in Patna,
Ranchi, Bhubneshwar and Guwahati. In its expansion mode, the company is looking
to expand across the upcountry markets in the east.
Commenting on the present market scenario and the company prospects, Sengupta
emphasised, “The east Indian upcountry market is expanding at a larger pace than
any other markets in India, offering more flexibility in marketing strategy and
a larger client base. Also, the channel community here is more organised than
other regions. As the market in metros is heading towards stagnation, it is the
upcountry where the future of IT lies.”
The company is now looking forward to rout the products through the channels
with its client base increasing by over 40 percent YoY.
“In our training programs, we not only provide technical training and
assistance to our partners, but our marketing team also assists them in
understanding client requirements. Our technical support and market assistance
team is always at the disposal to help our partners,” Sengupta concluded.
